My name is Bonnie,
I live in beautiful Bright North East Victoria with my husband Harry and our two young boys. My house is full of things I’ve collected over my life, curating a cosy, homey abode. Im not at all a minimalist.
Bush walks, river swims, cooking, sewing, magic, forests and natures beauty are my thing. I love to cook at home, spend time with family and friends and I adore being a mum.

After finishing school I studied for almost 2 years a bachelor of nursing and midwifery. With the goal of one day becoming a midwife. I have forever been passionate about birth, babies and motherhood.
As much as I wanted to and tried I simply could not see myself ever working in a hospital
then after returning home to Bright, life took me down a different road.
After a few years hospitality and retail, I found myself in the beauty industry. Opening a day spa and beauty salon with my sister who is a beauty therapist. We ran our business for 6 years until we both fell pregnant at the same time.
Soon after I gave birth I knew that this was the space
I needed to work in.
It feels like heading back onto the path I once went down, but this time in a bit more of a holistic kind of sense.
One that Im very excited about and feel comfortable and ecxited working in.
It calls to me to honour this period of life and return sacredness and reverence to the journey.
My goals are to connect with a community of like-minded women where we can share, listen, support, create and love each other.
For us to feel less shame and loneliness. More love and power.
Mothers are the real miracles.
I found in our modern, busy society the deep spiritual connection in pregnancy, birth, postpartum and matrescence was often difficult to find.
In clinical surrounds I found myself wanting a deeper more grounding experience, desired to feel seen and celebrated. And thus Scared Women was created.
It is or should be a time where women feel sacred.
Inherently tied to the gift of life and the concept of a life-giving womb in harmony with mother earth and the rest of creation. A truly sacred time that we will reflect on for the rest of our lives.
Creating life. Carrying life. Brining life into the word. Enduring a hugely empowering experience and transformational time. What we can do and achieve should be celebrated and acknowledge.
Let us create a space where women feel this connection. Where we can feel sacred, honoured and worshiped. Where we can feel and receive the magic.
It is the time of the divine feminine and I’m diving right in to be part of this powerful force.
I am looking forward to what is to come from my new beginning with sacred women.
